Overview
Sacred Heart Academy “SHA” Bryn Mawr (PA) is a Catholic, independent college preparatory school for girls founded in 1865 by the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and lay-owned and governed since 1969. Serving approximately 200 students in kindergarten through twelfth-grade, the School is seeking a dedicated and effective Reading Specialist in anticipation of the 2024-25 school year. This is a part-time position.
The Reading Specialist will lead the development and support of the literacy program for students in grades K-12 including the administration of assessments and their use in instructional planning, delivery of small group/individualized instruction, sharing of best practices, and enhancing learning opportunities for students and staff. Enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and impeccable organizational skills are key.
