Friends Select School is looking for a teacher to teach High School Geometry as part of its summer enrichment accelerator program. This six-week intensive course covers the standard full-year geometry curriculum. Geometry exposes students to topics in Euclidean geometry and to logic with deductive proofs. Students study polygon properties and theorems (major focus on triangles), circles, congruence and similarity, trigonometric ratios, and areas and volumes.
The course meets Monday-Friday from 830 AM to 1230 PM from June 16th through July 25th (closed on June 19th and July 4th). Pay is $6,000 for the summer.
