Friends Select School is seeking lifeguards to oversee and ensure the safety of our pool deck. This is a part time position with both daytime and afternoon/evening and weekend hours available. We are looking for a combination of individuals to cover the days/hours needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; act immediately and appropriately secure the safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
- Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
- Present professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Required Trainings and Certifications:
- Current Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid/AED certifications from an approved program.
- Successful completion of state requirements, including but not limited to the following clearances: PA State Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprint Check and PA Child Abuse Clearance
- Willingness to complete various online trainings, as required by the school
